Laura Rak completed her masterâs degree in Biotechnology at the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana. Her master thesis, conducted at the Clinical Institute of Genomic Medicine in Ljubljana, focused on telomere length and single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in telomerase function-associated genes in chorionic villi samples, exploring their potential contribution to spontaneous pregnancy loss. This research employed molecular biology techniques including real-time qPCR. Alongside her academic work, Laura gained valuable hands-on experience and performed a variety of bioprocess analytical methods in R&D department, specializing in upstream bioprocessing.
